SPECIAL NOTE
Please be aware that due to the ongoing Royal Mail strikes, your order may take longer to reach you than usual. This is entirely out of our control and we ask that you please bear with us. Should you require an order urgently please let us know by email as soon as you place your order and we can look at alternative options for postage, but please also note that other couriers are also experiencing a backlog due to the Royal Mail strikes.

Please note, if you wish to cancel an order due to delayed delivery we can do this but your refund will not be made until the item has been returned to us as per our return policy below. The cost of postage will not be refunded.

How much will delivery cost?

Your delivery will be calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of your order.

There are four categories:
Small parcel £4
Medium parcel £8
Large parcel £13

From time to time we run offers on shipping and these will appear on the website without prior notification. We reserve the right to remove these offers at any time.

Packaging

Where possible we re-use boxes to send out your orders. Whilst your items will be carefully packaged to ensure they arrive to you in beautiful condition the boxes may not look as ‘pretty’ as you might expect, they may even have some alternative branding. This is our way of creating as little package waste as we possibly can.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

We endeavour to ship most items within 3 working days of receipt of order via Royal Mail 2nd Class Postage. All furniture and large items will be shipped using the most suitable courier.

If an item is likely to be delayed for more than 2 weeks we will contact you to make you aware as soon as we can. We will also endeavour to part ship orders at no extra cost to the buyer if one of the items is delayed for more than two weeks or longer than stated on the website at the time of order.

Where do you deliver?

As we are only a small business we have made the decision to only deliver to UK mainland. Whilst we know this may be disappointing for some we would rather under promise and over deliver.

What happens if something arrives damaged?

We carefully check and package all of our items to ensure they arrive to you in tip top condition, but sometimes things do go wrong. If your item does arrive damaged, please email us on info@skinnypiginteriors.co.uk with details of the problem and a couple of photographs. If the packaging was damaged on delivery please also take a photograph of this.

Please don’t try and fix an item yourself as this will affect your entitlement to a refund, compensation or reimbursement.

We also ask that you do not return a faulty item without contacting us first. Skinny Pig Interiors cannot reimburse any postage costs incurred if the correct returns procedure is not followed.

 

Small items returns and exchanges…

For furniture please refer to the alternative policy in the section below.

Whilst we try our best to ensure our descriptions and photographs are accurate we understand that sometimes an item will arrive which doesn’t quite match your décor as you thought it would.

If you’re not completely happy you can return an item to us in its original condition and original packaging within 14 days, for a full refund, excluding delivery costs.

You are responsible for covering the cost of returning items to us. Please take care to keep all packaging as we can only accept returns with the original packaging.

We’re happy to offer a full refund or exchange for an alternative item if we have that item in stock.

Items which require assembly cannot be returned for a refund or exchange after they have been assembled.

To begin your return please email us at info@skinnypiginteriors.co.uk and our Customer Service Team will provide you with the information you need to return the item.

We also ask that you do not return an item without contacting us first. Skinny Pig Interiors cannot reimburse any postage costs incurred if the correct returns procedure is not followed.

Please note - Skinny Pig Interiors cannot be held responsible should an order go missing due to an incorrect or incomplete delivery address being provided at the time of order.

Furniture returns and damages…

As all furniture items are made to order, we regretfully cannot accept returns of any furniture items, so please check all colours, materials and dimensions prior to placing your order.

Upon receipt of your order please ensure you check the number of parcels/pallets and the outer packaging for damage and then sign the delivery note with any comments.

Should you need to make a subsequent claim, goods signed for as ‘unchecked’ will not be accepted.

Any claims for damages or missing items must be made within 7 days of receipt. Claims that are reported after this period will not be accepted.

All information required must be provided as claims without this information will not be processed.

When submitting a claim for damages, please quote the order number(s) and provide photographic evidence.

Returned goods will only be accepted if previously arranged and once a unique Returns Order Number has been issued.

All returned goods must be in the original packaging, securely packed for collection and including the Returns Order Number in your package.

Goods subject to a claim must not be destroyed until authorised by Skinny Pig Interiors.

Only goods on the original claims will be credited. Any extra goods returned without prior authorization will not be credited.

Where the defect or damage is easily repairable, we will arrange to repair the defective or damaged items.

Once received we will review the claim and aim to resolve it within 7-10 working days from receipt, given we have received all required information.
